At The Mama Chef, all meals are prepared fresh and delivered daily as part of a subscription service. Due to the nature of food products and hygiene considerations, returns are handled with strict care.
By placing an order or subscribing to our services, you agree to the Return Policy outlined below.
No Return on Delivered Meals
Once a meal has been delivered, it cannot be returned.
Food items are perishable and prepared specifically for each customer. For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns of delivered meals under any circumstances.
Incorrect or Damaged Orders
If you receive a meal that is:

Damaged during delivery,
You must inform us immediately at the time of delivery or within a reasonable time by contacting us on WhatsApp or email.
We will review the issue and, where appropriate, take corrective action. This may include a replacement or adjustment, at our discretion. Returned food items will not be collected back.
Customer Unavailability at Delivery
If the customer is unavailable at the time of delivery, meals may be left at a nearby shop or at a location previously approved by the customer.
Once the meal is delivered or left at the agreed location, it will be treated as successfully delivered and will not be eligible for return or replacement.
Incorrect Address Provided
If a meal cannot be delivered due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer, the meal will not be eligible for return, replacement, or refund.
Customers are responsible for ensuring their delivery address is accurate and up to date.
Food Quality & Hygiene
All meals are prepared in a clean and hygienic kitchen that is cleaned daily. We follow FSSAI hygiene standards and food safety practices.
If you have concerns about food quality, you are encouraged to contact us promptly so we can address the issue responsibly.
Allergies and Preferences
Customers may share dietary preferences or allergy information. While reasonable care is taken, meals are prepared in a kitchen that may handle common allergens.
Returns or replacements based on allergy-related concerns will be handled on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
No Resale or Commercial Use
Meals provided by The Mama Chef are intended strictly for personal consumption.
Meals that are resold or used for commercial purposes are not eligible for return or replacement, and such activity may result in termination of the subscription without refund.
Changes to This Policy
The Mama Chef reserves the right to update or modify this Return Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon being published on the website.
